Information, Formats & Rules
18's
Format
- Check-In on Saturday
only must be done at the Tournament Director's table
by a team representative immediately upon the team's
arrival.
- Teams will play in an 8-team pool
over the 2 days ( 7 total matches).
- The 18s Tournament Champion will
be the team with the best pool play record.
- Ties will be broken in accordance
with the KRVA tie-breaking procedures.
- Awards will be given to the first
and second place teams.
- Warmups will be 4 -- 4 for every
match, No Exceptions. 2 min. ball handling will
be done during the coin toss.
- Work teams (unless noted otherwise)
must provide 1 R2, 1 scorekeeper, 1 libero tracker/flipper,
and 2 line judges.
17's Format
- Check-In on Saturday only must be
done at the Tournament Director's table by a team
representative immediately upon the team's arrival.
- Teams will play in 5-team pools on
Saturday.
- The first matches on Sunday will
be "challenge matches" between the 1st,
2nd & 3rd placd finishers from Saturday's pool
play.
- Winners of the challege matches go
into a 3 team gold pool
- Losers of the challenge matches go
into a 3 team silver pool
- 4th and 5th place teams from Saturday's
pool play will play in a 4 team bronze pool
- Awards will be given to the first
and 2nd place teams from the gold pool
- Warmups will be 4 -- 4 for every
match, No Exceptions. 2 min. ball handling will
be done during the coin toss.

Facility
Rules
- No coolers on gym floors.
- Only water bottles on gym floors.
- Concessions will be available in
Jake Nevin and St. Mary's all day.
- SATURDAY TEAM CAMPS must ALL be on
the upper level of Jake Nevin. NO team camps in
the hallways outside Butler Annex.
- SUNDAY TEAM CAMPS for JAKE NEVIN
must all be on the upper level of Jake Nevin.
- SUNDAY TEAM CAMPS for ST. MARY'S
are limited to the outter edges of the gym floor
- BEHIND the black bball court lines.
- A trainer will be available both
days in Jake Nevin only starting at 8am on Saturday
and 7:30am on Sunday.
- Players must bring their own supplies
to the trainer.
- A trainer will not be available at
St. Mary's gym. Plan ahead accordingly.
- Teams are expected to clean up their
camp areas before departing the gym both days.
- Parking for Saturday is across Lancaster
from Jake Nevin in the main lot.
- Parking for Sunday is the same for
Jake Nevin; for St. Mary's gym, parking is either
in the small lot on the west side of the building
(enter from Spring Mills Rd. through the parking
attendant gate), or in the larger lot across Sprill
Mills Rd. from St. Mary's.
